Each year our coastal communities brace themselves against the winter conditions that create a ‘Perfect Storm’ of plastic pollution on our beaches. The Autumn Beach Clean extends deep into this darker, colder time than any other beach clean project. When, in the absence of summer’s tourist spotlight, the health of our coastlines can slip from the nation’s mind.
Along with over 300 other Beach Clean Leaders, the Three Bays Wildlife Group has joined Surfers Against Sewage and their partners to unite, inspire and empower our communities to take action to help create Plastic Free Coastlines.
We are running a beach clean at Pentewan Beach on the 28 of October. We will be meeting outside Cornwall Watersports on the beach at 1330, join us because you care about the health of our oceans and beaches.
Please wear sensible clothes. Litter picking equipment will be provided.
Unfortunately there will be NO LOCALS NIGHT this week. We will make NEXT THURSDAY our Last one of the season. We thank everyone who turned up and supported us this year.
