 ready to get wet?

We have a wide range of watersports activities at Cornwall Watersports - suitable for all abilities, including children. You don’t have to be superfit to enjoy watersports, just prepared to get wet and have a lot of fun!

All activities are reliant on the sea conditions so always check first. Call the shop (during opening hours) on 01726 842939 or text us on 07530 933926 (out of hours).

self-drive boat hire

Take a trip around Pentewan Bay. We have a beautiful scenic coastline, with lots of marine wild life. You can seat up to six people on our small tenders with full safety pack supplied. Available for 1, 2 or 3 hours. Bring your fishing rod and see what you can catch! Terms and conditions apply.

SAFETY BOAT ON THE WATER AT ALL TIMES DURING HIRING PERIODS

We also have wooden belly boards available free - first come, first served - every day. Part of our commitment to reduce plastics at the beach.

And we hire deckchairs, parasols and windbreaks at £5 a day.

 enjoy our tranquil bay

We have a beautiful scenic coastline, with lots of marine wild life. This year we saw dolphins, basking sharks, seals and a host of seabirds. Visit beaches only accessible by sea on any of our craft. If you are lucky, you may see our local seal who pops up now and again just to see what’s going on.

Stand up paddle boards or SUPs, as they have become known, have really started to take off all round the world. These boards can be used for touring, exploring and surfing and are such good fun. We think this sport began in Hawaii, and for sport and fitness lovers it’s a great way of providing a mid-core work out. For those not wanting a wet backside from sit-on kayaks, this will do it, but there is the slight problem that you just might fall in.

No sport other than windsurfing can give you the unbeatable feeling of being out in the open, gliding effortlessly (once you have learnt!) over the beautiful, clear waters of Pentewan Bay.

Windsurfing combines the thrills of surfing, the tranquillity of sailing, and puts you in touch with nature better than a good hike.
